Some will call the results of friendlies not important but aren’t they always the clubs who lose them? Results are important in friendlies from the aspect of creating a habit of winning, which is exactly what Leverkusen as done with four successive victories. Against TuS Koblenz, Bruno Labbadia managed to use his entire lineup as well as coming out with a 1-0 victory. Koblenz played behind the ball for most of the match but Theofanis Gekas scored with five minutes remaining for the victory. Practices enter the final aspect with the restart of the Bundesliga in only nine days now.
