By: Ulf | February 2nd, 2009The draw for the semi-finals of the DFB-Pokal are complete and Leverkusen will face Bayern in Düsseldorf on March 4.
Leverkusen coach Bruno Labbadia said of the draw:
“Obviously, we wanted to avoid Bayern but we can’t choose who we we play. But we are at home and we’ve got the prospect of interesting tie. We’re looking forward to it.”
It is a fine draw. If you are going to lift the trophy a showdown with Bayern is inevitable and best to play the match as early as possible.
